A Marion woman who had been charged with shooting her husband is free after prosecutors asked a judge to dismiss the case against her. Barbara Stricklin, was arrested in April for killing her husband, John Stricklin. Prosecutors say they were surprised by new evidence. The defense says there was a rush to judgment. Barbara Stricklin, spent nearly two months behind bars awaiting trial, when last month, the Marion County Prosecutor's Office asked a judge to dismiss the charges Barbara Stricklin had also been charge with possession of drugs, but those charges were dismissed earlier. According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Barbara Stricklin remains a person of interest in her husband's murder.
