Prospect Man Charged With Two Robberies

A Prospect man is being charged with the robberies of two Marion convenience stores. Marion police believe Christopher Santiago, age 30, of 3914 Centerville Green Camp Road, was behind the robbery of the Duke/Duchess Shoppe on East Fairground Street on August 13th and also the robbery of the Rite Aid on South Main Street.  Santiago plead guilty in 2013 to aggravated robbery, and in 2012, Santiago was convicted in a separate case of theft.  Santiago was indicted Wednesday on four felony charges, one count of second-degree robbery, two counts of third-degree robbery and one count of fifth-degree possession of criminal tools.
