Kimmel Says He Doesn't Really Want to Lose His Conservative Audience, But..

INJOIn his interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” late-night host Jimmy Kimmel said that he'd prefer if he didn't lose his conservative audience, but he won't cry about it if he does.

He also rebuffed conservative commentator Ben Shapiro's question of who made Kimmel the country's moral voice: “I'm not, I mean, I'm nobody's moral arbiter. You don't have to watch the show. You don't have to listen to what I say.”

Kimmel then talked about how before his audience demographics among liberal and conservative were roughly equal. Now, he says his conservative viewership is on a massive decline.

“Republicans numbers went way down, and as a talk show host, that's not ideal, but I would do it again in a heartbeat,” he said.
