The Village of La Rue is still under a Precautionary Boil Alert. Village employees are still working to repair all the water lines that are broken. This is a precautionary alert and is required by the EPA to issue when working on service lines. Water can be brought to a boil for 1 minute and is then perfectly safe to consume.All water is safe for washing hands and bathing.
