Parent Causes Disturbance At River Valley Youth Football Game

Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff's Department responded to an incident at River Valley High School, yesterday around 6pm.  The incident happened during a River Valley Youth Football game.  According to reports, the parent stepped on to the sidelines and began yelling profanities.  

The parent was told to stop yelling.  He continued and was asked to leave the game by officials he complied and left.

The parent was later pulled over by deputies and cited for disorderly conduct. 

Deputies believe the parent may have been angry at one of the coach's calls.

The game was a River Valley Youth Football game and was not affiliated with the River Valley School District.
