Gas prices in the Marion area are down this week. The average cost of a gallon of regular gas fell from $2.24 to $2.15. Fuel prices have been unseasonably low most of the summer. Gas prices jumped 16 cents in Ohio, after the July 4th holiday, it was one of the largest single-week increases in the nation.
