C-Span asked 91 presidential historians to rank the best presidents in order and it should probably come as no surprise that Abraham Lincoln and George Washington rank one and two. on the list. Franklin D. Roosevelt is third, followed by Theodore Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower. Barack Obama came in 12th, George H.W. Bush is 20th, George W. Bush is 33rd. The worst-Andrew Johnson, Franklin Pierce, and at the bottom of the list-James Buchanan, who was cited for being inept and indifferent.
