Around 6pm on Saturday, June 24th, the Marion City Police Department responded to a home in the 300 block of Brentwood Drive after receiving a call from a family asking for assistance in checking on the welfare of the residents. Officers arrived and located 2 persons in their 20's deceased inside the house. According to the Marion Police Department, Luke Brown, shot his wife Cheyenne Brown, he then shot himself.
The investigation in ongoing and there are no suspects that the police are seeking.
