Yesterday (May 15th) around 1:30 pm a bank robbery occurred at the US Bank in Marengo. The bank robbery is currently under investigation. The Sheriff’s Office is looking for a black male in connection with this bank robbery. He is approximately 6 foot tall, slim build, wearing a red ball cap, a blue Adidas wind breaker with 3 white stripes down each sleeve. There is an Adidas symbol on the left breast of the jacket. He is also wearing blue jeans and black shoes.The suspect may have fled in a dark gray or black in color, 4 door midsize sedan. It is believed that there was a second individual driving the vehicle. It is unknown if the suspect was armed, as no weapon was brandished.At this time it is unknown if this robbery is connected to the bank robbery in Sunbury.
