My parents have been married 65 years-soon to be 66. As fortunate as I am to have both my parents you realize they aren't going to be around forever. Both my parents have been in the hospital the past couple of weeks for various ailments. When you sit by the bed of your mother or dad and they have just come out of surgery or are hooked up to a heart monitor you realize that mowing the yard or sweeping the carpet suddenly doesn't mean anything. If you are as close to your parents or your family as I am feel lucky and grateful that God has given you a wonderful family. If you need to close those holes in your family don't wait till its too late. Be thankful for every day you have.
