My son and I got to make a quick trip to Dublin, Ireland for a couple of days. I told him Dublin reminded me of Akron or Dayton- a very nondescript city and not what I expected. One must go to the beautiful Trinity College and see the architecture and no trip would be complete without a tour of the 7-story Guinness Brewery. Cap off the nearly 3 hour tour with a complimentary brew on the top floor overlooking the city. I must admit I am not a beer drinker so I gave my to Bryan. To get a real feel of Ireland you need to get away from the city and visit the countryside.
