Mary Jane Levering, age 68 of North Woodbury, Ohio, died after a long illness on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
She was born October 18, 1948 to the late M. Ruth (Hart) Conant Algire and C. Harold Conant in Galion, Ohio. She graduated with the Class of 1966 from Mt. Gilead High School, Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
She’s survived by her husband, Bruce Levering, her son, Aaron C. Levering, one Granddaughter, Katelyn Elizabeth, and Grandson, Caleb Daniel. Also remaining is a sister, Martha Jones, of Marion, Ohio, and a brother, Milton (Butch) Conant, of Galion, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, George Conant.
She was employed by Galion Hospital and later by Arundale/Core Systems of Mt. Gilead for 30 years and the last 12 years by Marion Municipal Court, Marion, Ohio. Mary was a member of VFW and AMVETS Women’s Auxiliary and held the office of Treasurer for many years. Mary enjoyed her grandchildren, her many friends and was an avid BINGO player.
Calling hours will be held Monday, March 27th from 2-4pm with services starting at 4pm. Immediately following the services, there will be a celebration of life at AMVETS, Post 87, St. Rt. 61, Mt. Gilead, Oh.
