There will be a Naloxone training seminar offered by the Morrow County Health District. The seminar will be March 21 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at Community Services Building, Entrance B. The class is designed for individuals with a family member addicted to heroin or prescription opiates or anyone in the community that comes in contact with individuals addicted to heroin or prescription opiates.
The training will focus on who is at risk for overdose, the signs of overdose, and how to administer the Nasal Naloxone.
The training is free and All registered participants will leave with an overdose prevention kit. Space is limited so you must register today by contacting Maryhaven at 419-946-6734.
