MARION – The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Marion City Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Department held an OVI checkpoint on Friday, September 16, 2022. The checkpoint was held on Mount Vernon Ave. near Forest Lawn Blvd. in the City of Marion.
Officers made contact with 610 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint. 5 vehicles were diverted for further investigation and 1 impaired driver was arrested for OVI.
