Monday morning, Marion Mayor Scott Schertzer took to Facebook to update everyone on he, and Public Works Director Jim Bischoff’s, condition, while in quarantine due to exposure of COVID-19. Mayor Schertzer thanked everyone for their prayers and well wishes. He stated that he, and Bischoff, have tested negative twice and his senior staff has also been tested, regardless of if they have had contact with Safety Director Randy Caryer, who, with his wife, are currently battling the virus. Schertzer said he and Bischoff will have a third test Wednesday, and if negative, they will return to City Hall.
