All seven Wyandot county fire departments responded to the Dlubak Glass Company this afternoon at 3:30 for a large fire in their yard west of Upper Sandusky. The billowing column of black smoke was seen over 25 miles away. Dlubak Glass Safety Director Bryan Pino said no employees were hurt and there is nothing innately hazardous in the burning material. No buildings on the property were reported damaged and there is no apparent threat to the health and safety of the public. Two firefighters were taken to the hospital with heat exhaustion. They're expected to recover just fine.
