A corrections officer at the Marion Correctional Institution has died as a result of COVID-19. Governor DeWine says 55-year-old John Dawson was one of 26 staff members at the prison to test positive for the virus. Dawson, who had worked at the facility since 1996, reportedly had a pre-existing health condition.
