Tom Robbins, Director of Public Safety, will be retiring on December 31st, after forty-five years of service with the City of Marion.
During his tenure as Safety Director with the City of Marion, Robbins oversaw the operation of the city’s Police and Fire Departments, Human Resources, the newly added Grass and Weeds program, and served as chief negotiator during union contract negotiations. Robbins was appointed as the Safety Director in January 2008.
