All City of Marion departments will be closed on Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Offices in City Hall will also be closed on Friday.
Many of the offices in City Hall will be observing their weekly early closure day on Wednesday.
The Sanitation and Streets Department will not collect trash, recycling, yard waste or leaves on Thursday. Services by these crews will resume on Friday,
Yard waste and leaf collection will also resume on Friday. Marion Area Transit will be closed and have no bus service available on Thursday or Friday. Normal bus service will resume on Monday, Marion Senior Center will be closed on Thursday, and Friday. Transportation will be available for dialysis patients on Friday.
All other programs and activities will resume at the Senior Center on Monday.
