The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, and other law enforcement agencies announced today that two OVI checkpoints will be held in Delaware County. The first OVI checkpoint will be held from 8 P.M. to 10 P.M. on Sawmill Parkway, in Delaware County. The second OVI checkpoint will be held from 11 P.M. to 1 A.M. on US 23, in Delaware County.
The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
