Sixty-one counties in Ohio including Marion and Delaware counties have been declared in a state of emergency. According to richlandsource.com Governor Mike DeWine announced Monday that the counties are under the emergency declaration because they have suffered damage to roads and/or bridges from significant weather events in June which thoroughly saturated the ground causing dangerous roadway damage. The emergency proclamation will allow the Ohio Department of Transportation and local governments to access federal emergency relief funds. Other counties included in the declaration are Crawford, Morrow, and Union counties.
