A two-story triplex Marion home at 496 East Fairground Street was severely damaged Wednesday morning. Marion City firefighters were called to the home just before 10:30 a.m. It took firefighters around 13 minutes to get the fire under control. It is believed the fire stared around and electrical panel in the upstairs apartment. The three people that live in the house escaped without injuries.
