The Marion Police Department is investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting in the 500 block of East Mark Street that caused one injury. There was a report of gunfire around 3 pm. The victim was found at different location after the person fled the scene of the shooting. One person was transported to Marion General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
