Delaware County Sheriff Reveal Naming Contest Winner For New Vehicle

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office's says they have a name for their new remote-controlled patrol car after holding a naming contest. Officials announced yesterday they had chosen the name Deputy Cruze, which had been submitted to them in the contest. Deputy Cruze is a small robotic toy police car that can talk and interact with school-age children in order to speak to them about public safety issues in a friendly, non-intimidating way. Deputy Cruze is similar to Buster the School Bus, another robotic remote-control vehicle that helps children learn proper bus safety.
