The Marion Area Chamber Board of Directors recently announced that Matt Carbary has been appointed as the Interim President of the Chamber. Over the last 8 years, Matt has served in multiple roles with the Chamber, most recently serving as Vice President and is well prepared to step in to the role of President.
With this transition, Pam Hall, who was affiliated with the Chamber for 25 years, nearly one fourth of the 103 year old Chamber’s existence will be stepping down. Pam spent four years serving on the Chamber Board followed by the past 21 years serving in the capacity of President. Pam wishes to thank the Chamber Board and the entire community for the years of support provided to her in what she describes as the “Best job in the world”. Her prayer is that God will open a new door for her professional career going forward.
In recognition of Pam’s years of service the Chamber Board has bestowed upon Pam the title of President Emeritus.
