The City of Marion will sponsor a Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 18. Any City of Marion resident, currently on City Sanitation Service, wishing to dispose of unwanted items may do so by taking those items directly to the Marion County Solid Waste Transfer Station located at 1564 Victory Road, you will need proof of current city sanitation service. The free drop off will not accept yard waste, appliances, tires, regular garbage, or hazardous materials If you would like more information you can contact the City Sanitation and Streets Department at (740) 382-1479.
