A man accused of stabbing another person multiple times was arrested Sunday night at his home on Olney Avenue.
47-year-old, Donald Alan Mayse, was arrested on a charge of felonious assault; Mayse is accused of stabbing a 40-year-old man in the elbow and chest with a knife following a "heated argument" between the two individuals. During the argument, Mayse allegedly picked up a knife and lunged at the victim several times cutting his sweatshirt, elbow and chest.
Police recovered several knives at the scene, including a folding pocket knife and three throwing knives. The incident was witnessed by a third party who called the police after the victim went to the hospital. Mayse is currently being held at the Multi-County Correctional Center and his bond has been set at $100,000, he was also charged with one count of domestic violence
