A man from Marion County was killed in a snowmobile accident Saturday.The accident happened on Kenton Galion Road, east of Ohio 4. Thirty-five year-old Eric Imbody, was riding a snowmobile before 6p.m. Saturday on National Lime and Stone Company property when he struck a wire that was suspended across an entrance to the quarry and was knocked off the snowmobile,.
Imbody had a juvenile passenger on his snowmobile who was not injured in the accident. Imbody was taken to Ohio Health Marion General where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators do not suspect that alcohol was involved, even though toxicology results are not in yet.
