The Marion Popcorn Festival’s Recipe Contest will pop to the forefront once again in 2018. Judging will take place on Thursday, September 6, at the Marion County Building.
This is a traditional cooking contest where the finished product must be edible and must contain popcorn. The recipes do not need to be original, but entries must cite the original source. Criteria for judging will include the use of popcorn, flavor, creativity and appropriateness to the food. The first place winner will receive two Kernel Seats to the main stage entertainment.
The OSU Extension Office must receive all entries by Tuesday, September 4, 2018 to hutchins.128@osu.edu . Please do not mail entries. Include your name, address, telephone number, and recipe. On Thursday, September 6, all participants should drop off their entries between 11:30am and 12:30pm at the Marion County Building.
