A report of counterfeit money being passed at the Lincoln Highway garage sales in Crawford County last weekend is being investigated by the Crawford County Sheriff's office.
The concern of fake bill being passed at the Bratwurst Festival is being made by the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce, the chamber has been asked by the Sherriff’s Department to make local businesses aware of the fake bills.
The chamber is asking all businesses in the area to be aware of the counterfeit bills and make all their employees be cautious when accepting cash and to be especially aware of twenty dollar bills.
