Troopers from the Marion Post of Highway Patrol are investigating a serious injury crash that occurred on Saturday at 8:08 pm on County Road 175 near U.S. 23 in Marion County. The crash involved a 1986 Honda Goldwing ridden by 64 year-old Donald M. Jones, of Marion. Jones was eastbound on County Road 175, when he drove off the right side of the roadway, overturned and slid back on the roadway. The motorcycle and Mr. Jones came to a final rest in the westbound lane. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.Mr. Jones was transported Marion General Hospital and then transported to Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus by Medflight.
