A fire in Marion on Saturday is under investigation. A fire destroyed an abandoned two-car garage at 680 Silver Street, on Saturday morning. When firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after 8 a.m, they found the garage engulfed in flames. The fire was under control in about 10 minuets. The fire caused around $5,400 in damage. Both the detached garage and house are abandoned. Since the garage was not attached to the house no other building on the property were damaged.
