People can now text for emergency help in Delaware County.Officials launched the "Text to 911" service this week, offering hearing impaired residents an easier way to contact first responders. The sheriff's office says it's also useful to people who need to remain quiet in violent situations. Texts are not immediately received, however, so calling 911 should still be the first option.
