According to WBNS 10TV, The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is responding to reports of a 40-to 60-car crash on Interstate 71 east of Mount Gilead.
At this time I-71 north is shut down in the area of mile marker 154-155,according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. The south bound lanes have reopened. Northbound reopened this morning.
The Patrol and the Ohio Department of Transportation are on the scene and traffic is currently being diverted diverting traffic onto State Route 95 to bypass the closed section of I-71.
Only minor injuries have been reported at this time, according to OSHP.
