Marion Palace Theatre Taking Registrations for Line Dance Classes

Marion Palace Theatre Executive Director Kirk Detweiler announces a series of Line Dance Lessons will be offered at the theatre this Spring. The Palace is located at 276 West Center Street in downtown Marion.

Line Dance will meet for six-weeks on Mondays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Classes begin February 28 and run through April 4, 2022. Participants will learn the newest steps, practice fun dance techniques, and dance to a variety of songs from all genres including Country, disco, and hip-hop. Bring your friends or come alone and have a great time in these classes geared toward beginning dancers. Lessons will be held in the May Pavilion and are led by Executive Director Kirk Detweiler.

Classes are $10 per session; or $40 for the 6-week series when paying in advance. Participants are asked to register at least one week before their first class. Registrations can be made by phone (740) 383-2101 or online at marionpalace.org.

The Palace will continue to observe current safety guidelines. Policies and guidelines will continue to evolve with time and will be assessed and updated on an ongoing basis. While masks are not required at the Palace, the CDC recommends them for all guests regardless of vaccination status.
