General Election Day 2020!

Election results from Marion County saw Matt Bayles receive 60% of the vote to defeat Tim Bailey to become the next Sheriff. In the commissioner races, Andy Applefeller and Kerr Murray were both reelected to another term. Jessica Wallace will remain the Marion County Clerk of Courts after defeating challenger Rob Koons. Pleasant Local Schools Emergency Levy has failed, but the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities levy, the Crawford-Marion ADAM-H renewal, Marion Township Fire and the Marion Senior Services Levy all passed, unofficially. In Crawford County, Patrick T Murphy defeated Debra A. Garverick for Common Pleas Judge and Galion City Schools passed their renewal levy.

In Morrow County, Timothy Siegfried and Tim Abraham won election as County Commissioners. The Mt. Gilead Library levy was renewed and Morrow County MRDD’s additional levy failed.

As far as the 86th Ohio House District, Tracy Richardson has won reelection, as has Riordon McClain in the 87th district. The 26th Ohio Senate seat will be retained by Bill Reineke. Jim Jordan, Bob Latta and Troy Balderson have also won reelection to the US House of Representatives.
