A new Fire Truck for Bucyrus was approved at Thursday's City Council meeting. The truck that is being replaced is from 1989 and the manufacturers of the other two trucks are not in business anymore making it challenging to find parts for them. The National Fire Protection Association requires fire trucks have up-to-date equipment and must meet certain standards.
