The Miles for Marion Monster Dash will be held on October 19th with race day registration beginning at 9am and a 10am start time. The race will take off from its start line, directly behind the old Rec Center, positioned behind Marion City Hall. Participants will head East down West Center St. then turn right onto Forest Lawn Boulevard where they will turn around and head West on West Center and end where they began at the old Rec. Center.

They would also like to encourage our participants to wear their favorite Halloween attire! Not only will there be awards for first place female runner, male runner, and youth runner, there will also be an award for the best costume which will be chosen by those in attendance.
Together, with our downtown businesses, they will be hosting the 3rd annual Monster March following the Miles for Marion Monster Dash. From 12pm to 2pm participating businesses will pass out goodies to all the children in attendance. Last year we served over 400 friendly little monster marchers with the help of just over 70 local business. A detailed Map will be released closer to the week prior to the event.
