Patrol Investigates Injury Commercial Vehicle Crash In Delaware County

The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a three vehicle injury crash that occurred at approximately 6:25 A.M. Saturday, on U.S. 23 at SR 750, in Delaware County. Andrew Baker, age 30, of Fleming-Neon, Kentucky, was driving a Kenworth semi-truck and trailer northbound on U.S. 23 at SR 750.

Mr. Baker failed to stop at a red light and struck two vehicles that were traveling westbound on SR 750. A Honda Accord, driven by Tyler Mattox, age 24 of Lewis Center, and a Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Scott Cline, age 52, of Howard. The drivers were treated at the scene by Orange Township EMS. US 23 was closed for approximately four hours while crews cleaned diesel fuel, and debris from the roadway.

The crash remains under investigation.
