Facebook to Hand Russian-Bought Ads Over to Congress

Facebook announced on Thursday that it will provide the House and Senate intelligence committees with copies of the thousands of ads it sold to Russian-linked accounts during the 2016 election.

The social media company had already temporarily provided investigators with copies and information related to the ads; however, Facebook took back the information over privacy concerns.

“And this morning, I directed our team to provide the ads to Congress,” Zuckerberg added.
