On Wednesday around 2:47 pm Troopers from the Marion Post of the State Highway Patrol investigated a crash that occurred ON U.S. 23 at County Road 195 in Marion County.The crash involved a pickup truck driven by Cecil Hesson, age 75, of Prospect, and a minivan driven by John Kubisiak, age 70, of Southgate, Michigan. Mr. Hesson was transported to OSU Medical center in Columbus by Mediflight. Mr. Kubisiak was transported to Marion General Hospital. Mr. Hesson’s Passenger Rose Hesson age 77, was taken to Marion General Hospital, and the passenger in Mr. Kubisiak’s vehicle, Joyce Kubisiak was also take to Marion General. On Thursday Cecil Hesson passed-away from his injuries from the crash.The crash remains under investigation.
