(NEWSER) – After five years behind bars, OJ Simpson has had enough. In front of a parole board yesterday, Simpson argued for early release from prison, where he's serving a 33-year sentence for his conviction on a dozen charges stemming from an incident in which he said he "was trying to retrieve, for my family, my own property." Clad in blue denim, the former football star argued he'd been on his best behavior, saying he promised Nevada officials "I would be the best prisoner they have ever had here ... I think, for the most part, I've kept my word on that," CNN reports.
